We both grew up in families that were active in Christian ministry.
When we were young adults we sensed the call of God to take the Good News of Jesus to people who have never heard it.
I am Irish-Kenyan. I grew up in Kenya, where my parents served with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). When I was a teenager we moved to Northern Ireland, and I later studied Theology and English at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. I joined YWAM in 2001 in England, and have served in missions since that time. I met Nice during my earliest days with YWAM and we got married in Chiang Mai in 2005.
I am originally from Northern Thailand. My parents were pastoring when I was a kid, and we moved around various parts of Thailand, but finally settled back in the North. I studied Mass Communications at Ramkhamhaeng University in Bangkok, and then went to England in 2000 to study English for 1 year. Following that year, I felt God leading me to stay on in the UK and to work with YWAM. Later I met and married Andrew and after 16 years in the UK, we moved back to Thailand in 2017.
Our passion is to see hope, transformation and revival come to Thailand through people encountering Jesus.
To that end, we are involved in various kinds of ministry including discipleship, prayer, worship, and Bible teaching.
We serve with YWAM in Chiang Mai. We are also on staff with The Home of Blessing, a girls home founded by Nice’s parents in 1991. The Home of Blessing champions girls from Hill Tribe backgrounds and equips them and their communities for a brighter future. Nice is a photographer and uses her skills to bless people and to generate income in support of our ministry. Andrew serves on the Board of Grace International School, one of the leading mission schools in South East Asia.
